What the extension does

  • YouTube video in the product gallery at a position you choose – slider, thumbnails, dots and zoom included.
  • The player loads only after a click and consent; thumbnails are stored locally.
  • Its own consent entry for video.
  • Product admin card with preview, ordering and duplicate checks.
  • VideoObject structured data when every required fact is known.
  • Import from ACRIS with a dry run.

Requirements & setup

  • Shopware 6.6 or 6.7, PHP 8.2+.
  • YouTube video URLs per product.

Status: Compatibility declared for Shopware 6.6 and 6.7. Availability on request.

Works with the Consent Manager

Product Videos only loads after “Video” consent. Together with the Consent Manager, your shop gets an equally prominent “reject all” and blocks scripts reliably until consent is given.

Which video platforms are supported?

No. Preview images are served locally, and the player only loads after a click and video consent.

Can I show several videos per product?

Currently only the first video is shown.

Can I switch over from ACRIS?

Yes, with an import from ACRIS that includes a dry run.
